Vipra Care’s Free COVID-19 Vaccination Camps

Responding to the current need for making vaccination available for all, we at Vipra Care Foundation began Free Vaccination Camps for underprivileged senior citizens, specially-abled, transgenders and mass spreaders. So, far we have conducted vaccination drives in Kolkata and Jaipur. Your support can help us extend this service to many more people in the grass root level.

Vaccination Camp in Kolkata

We conducted a free vaccination camp in Kolkata on Saturday, 12 June 2021 in collaboration with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The Vaccines and the Medical team was provided by by The Kolkata Municipal Corporation where as Vipra Foundation had taken up the responsibility of other arrangements for the camp. The camp was held at Haryana Bhawan from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. This drive was inaugurated by Sri Firhad Hakim, Honourable Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The Vaccines and the Medical team was provided by by The Kolkata Municipal Corporation where as Vipra Foundation had taken up the responsibility of other arrangements for the camp. To ensure a smooth vaccination process, pre-registration was made mandatory.

This camp catered to the underprivileged populace specially the senior citizens, specially-abled, trans-genders and the mass spreaders. We had also arranged for pickup and drop facility for the senior citizens who would otherwise find it difficult to commute. A total of 600 people were vaccinated free of cost in this camp.

The success of this camp, encouraged us to conduct a second drive on 19 June 2021 at the same venue. This time we primarily focussed on vaccinating women whereby approximately 600 women received vaccination.

Vaccination Camp in Jaipur

We conducted a free vaccination camp in Jaipur on 14 June 2021. The camp was held at Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce, M.I. Road from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. This drive was inaugurated by Dr Mahesh Joshi, Rajasthan Chief Whip. To ensure a smooth vaccination process, pre-registration was made mandatory.

The beneficiaries of this camp belonged to the 18+ age group and a total of 500 were vaccinated in the camp.
